ORDER
New Delhi, the 26th October 1970
G.S.R. 1861.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), the Central Government hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Uttar Pradesh Foodgrains (Restrictions on Border Movement) Order, 1969, namely:—
1. (1) This Order may be called the Uttar Pradesh Foodgrains (Restrictions on Border Movement) Amendment Order, 1970
(2) It shall come into force at once.
2. In clause 3 of the Uttar Pradesh Foodgrains (Restrictions on Border Move- ment) Order, 1969, in the proviso, for sub-clause (v), the following sub-clause shall be substituted, namely—
"(v) not exceeding two quintals of paddy, or one quintal of rice, in weight at one time by a bonafide resident of the border area for domestic consumption; or"
