G.S.R. 1866. The following Order made by the President on 31st October , 1970 is published for general information: -
THE STATES REORGANISATION ( GOVERNERS ' ALLOWANCES AND PRIVILEGES ) AMENDMENT ORDER , 1970
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 73 of the States Reorganisation Act, 1956 (37 of 1956 ) , the President hereby makes the following Order further to amend the States Reorganisation ( Governors ' Allowances and Privileges ) Order , 1957 , namely : -
1. This Order may be called the States Reorganisation ( Governors ' Allowances and Privileges ) Amendment Order , 1970 .
2. In the States Reorganisation ( Governors' Allowances and Privileges ) Order , 1957 , in the Second Schedule, the existing proviso shall be numbered as ( 1 ) there- of and after it is so numbered , the following proviso shall be inserted , namely :- " ( 2) Provided further that for the financial year 1970-71 this Schedule shall , in so far as it relates to the State of Kerala , have effect as if for the figures " 60,000 " , " 10,000 " , " 55.000 " , " 30,000 " and " 1,67,000 " occurring in columns 3 , 6 , 7, 8 and 9 thereof, the figures "60,580 " , " 10,755 ", " 59,455" , " 47,520 " and " 1,90,310 " had respectively been substituted."
