ORDER
New Delhi, the 7th November 1970
G.S.R. 1877.—Whereas the Central Government is satisfied that in the public interest it is necessary to make the following Order;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1968 (59 of 1968), the Central Government hereby prohibits strikes in any service in the Food Corpo- ration of India, which has been declared to be an essential service for the purposes of the said Act, by the notification of Government of India in the Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Community Development and Cooperation (Department of Food) No. G.S.R. 1878, dated the 7th November, 1970.
