ORDER

New Delhi, the \lth November, 1970

S.O. 3764.—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Commerce No. S.O. 3712, dated the 29th November, 1965, the management of the industrial undertaking known as the India United Mills Ltd,, Bombay (Maharashtra), had been taken over by the Authorised Controller referred to in the Order mentioned above for a period upto and inclusive of the 28th November, 1970;

And whereas the Central Government is of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that the management of the said industrial undertaking by the said Authorised Con- troller should continue, for a further period of two years; Now therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Sub-section (2) of Section 18 A of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby directs that the Order mentioned above shall continue to have effect for 2 further period upto and inclusive of 28th November, 1972,Further, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 18A of the Industries (Develop- ment and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), and in partial modification of the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Commerce No. S.O. 3712, dated the 29th November, 1965, and in supersession of the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Commerce No. S.O. 1210, dated the 26th March, 1968, the Central Government hereby authorises with effect from the 29th November, 1970, the Maharashtra State Textile Corporation Ltd., to take over the management of the whole of the India United Mills Ltd., Bombay, vice Shri S.
