NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 25th November 1970
S.O. 3801.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 17 of the Export (Quality Control and Inspection) Act, 1963 (22 of 1963), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Export of Fish and Fish Products (Inspection) Rules, 1964, namely:—
1. These rules may be called the Export of Fish and Fish Products (Inspection) Amendment Rules, 1970.
2. In rule 4 of the Export of Fish and Fish Products (Inspection) Rules, 1964, for sub-rule (2), the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely:—
"(2) Every Intimation under sub-rule (1) shall be given,—
(a) In the case of frozen prawns (shrimps), not less than seven days, and (b) in the case of prawns (shrimps) canned in brine or dry packed, not less than ten days,
before the scheduled date of loading of the consignment in a ship, vehicle or aircraft, as the case may be."
