MINISTRY OF FOREIGN TRADE ORDER New Delhi, the 3rd December 1970

S.O. 3891.—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry at Commerce and Industry No. S.O. 581, dated the 4th March, 1963, read with the Orders of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Com- merce No. S.O. 81G, dated the 4th March. 1968, in the late Ministry of Foreign Trade and Supply (Department of Foreign Trade) No. S.O. 922, dated the 3rd March. 1969, and in the Ministry of Foreign Trade No. S.O. 835. dated the 23th February, 1970 and S.O. 2969, dated the 2nd September, 1970, the management of the industrial undertaking known as the Pratap Spinning, Weaving and Manufacturing Company Limited, Amalner (Maharashtra) (hereinafter referred to as the said industrial undertaking) had been taken over by the Authorised Controller referred to in the Order first mentioned above for a period upto and inclusive of the 3rd December, 1970;

And whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Foreign Trade No. S.O. 3718. dated the 10th November, 1970, the Maharashtra State Textile Corporation Limited (hereinafter referred to as the Authorised Controller) has been authorised to take over the management of the whole of the said undertaking;

And whereas the Central Government is of the opinion that it is expadient in the public interest that the management of the said industrial undertaking by the Authorised Controller should continue for a further period of one month; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub- section (2) of section 18A of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), and in supersession of the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Foreign Trade No. S.O. 3710, dated the 9th November, 1970, the Central Government hereby direct¹? that the Order first mentioned above shall continue to have effect for a further period upto, and inclusive of, the 3rd January, 1971, [No. F. 13(1)TEX(G)/68.] B.
