New Delhi, the 31st December 1970

G.S.R. 2070.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Sec- tion 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No. 22-Customs", dated the 1st March, 1970, namely:—

In paragraph 2 of the said notification, for the figures, letters and word "31st December, 1970", the figures, letters and word "31st December, 1971" shall be substituted.
