CENTRAL EXCISES
New Delhi, the 5th January, 1972
G.S.R. 15(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No. 131/70- Central Excises, dated the 2nd June, 1970, namely:—
In the first proviso to the said notification, the following shall be inserted at the end, namely:—
"and that in the case of such factory the average price of less than five rupees per kilogram shall be calculated on the basis of the total sales of loose tea whether in public auction or by private transaction or both".
