NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, 13th January, 1972
G.S.R. 26(E),—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of sec- tion 3 of the All India Services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951), read with Rule 11 of the Indian Administrative Service '(Pay) Rules, 1954, the Central Government, in consultation with the Government of Himachal Pradesh, hereby makes the follow- ing Rules further to amend the Indian Administrative Service(Pay) Rules, 1954, namely.—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) first Amendment Rules, 1.972.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
3. In Schedule III, under the heading "A—Posts carrying pay above time scale pay in the Indian Administrative Service under the State Governments" against Himachal Pradesh, for the existing entry, hamely :—
"Chief Secretary Rs. 3,000".
