NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 20th January, 1972

S.O. 47(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Commissions of Inquiry Act, 1952 (60 of 1952), the Central Government hereby appoints Dr. V. S. Vyas, Member of the Agricultural Prices Commission, • as a part-time member of the Commission of Inquiry appointed to inquire into the working of the sugar industry, by the notification of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Community Development and Co-operation (Department of Food), No. S.O. 3180, dated tile 28th September, 1970, vice Dr. Dharam Narain, and makes the following further amendment in the said notification, namely:—

In paragraph 1 of the said notification, for the entry relating to item No. 4, the following entry shall be substituted, namely:—

"Dr. V. S. Vyas, Member, Agricultural Prices Commission." [No. 1-15/71-Sugar.] S. V. SAMPATH, Jt, Secy.
