New Delhi, the 20th January, 1972.
S.O. 48E.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5) of section 44 of the "North- Eastern Areas (Reorganisation) Act, 1971 (81 of 1971, the President hereby autho- rises that, pending the sanction by the Parliament, expenditure of sums not exceeding "those specified in column 2 of the Schedule annexed hereto and amounting in the ag- gregate to the sum of two crores thirty-four lakhs and eightynine thousand rupees may be incurred from and out of the Consolidated Fund of India towards defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during the period commencing on the 21st January, 1972 and ending with the 31st March, 1972, for the administration of the affairs the Union territory Of Mizoram ,in respect of the services and purposes in column 1 of the said Schedule.
