DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNICATIONS (Posts and Telegraphs Board) NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 22nd January 1972
G.S.R. 55(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Indian Post Office Act, 1898 (6 of 1898), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Indian Post Office Rules, 1933, namely:—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Indian Post Office (Second Amendment) Rules,
(2) They shall come into force on the first day of February, 1972. 2. In rule 6 of the Indian Post Office Rules, 1933, in the Schedule, the entries relating to "Ceylon", following entries shall be substituted, namely:—
Destination
male fee for each fraction thereof addition to surface
Rates of postage inclusive of air mail fee
Rates of air 10 grams or (payable in postage)
Letters Printed papers Postcards Aerogrammes
