ORDER
New Delhi, the 21st January 1972
S.O. 63 (E).—Whereas in the opinion of the Central Government it is neces- sary and expedient so to do for securing the defence of India and for maintaining supplies and services essential to the life of the community;
And whereas any strike or lockout in any service in the State of Kerala connect- ed with the supply of electric energy to the public or with the generation, storage or transmission of electric energy for the purpose of such supply and in the works connected with the IDIKKI Hydro-electric Project would prejudicially affect the defence of India and for maintaining supplies and Services essential to the life of the community, it Is necessary and expedient to prevent strikes in the said Service;
