IIIB.—The President is pleased, on the occasion of Republic Day, 1972, to award an Appreciation Certificate for Specially Distin- guished Record of Service to Shri Belakavadi Gopala Narayana Iyengar, Apprai- ser, Custom House, Bombay (at present on deputation to the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence).
2. The award is made under clause (a)(ii) of para 1 of the Scheme govern- ing the grant of awards to the officers and staff of the Customs & Central Excise Departments, published in Part I Section 1, of the Gazette of India Extraordinary Notification No. 12/139/59-Ad. IIIB, dated the 5th November, 1962, as amended from time to time.
