S.O. 116 ( E ) -Whereas a vacancy has occurred in the House of the People by reason of the death of Shri Durga Das Bhatia , elected to that House from 4 - Amritsar parliamentary constituency in the State of Punjab ;
Now, therefore , in pursuance of the provisions of sub - section ( 1 ) of section 49 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commis- sion hereby called upon the said constituency to elect before the 17th March , 1972 , in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the rules and orders made thereunder , a person to fill the vacancy so caused .

एस ० श्र1०116 . (श्र ) -यत. पजाब राज्य में के 4-अमृतसर संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से लोक सभा के लिए निर्वाचित सदस्य श्री दुर्गा दाम भाटिया की मृत्यु हो जाने के कारण उस सभा में एक स्थान रिक्त हो गया है ,
अतः, अब , लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 के 43 ) को धारा 149 की उपधारा (1 ) के उपबन्धों के अनुसरण में, निर्वाचन आयोग 'उक्त निर्वाचन क्षेत्र स एतद्वारा अपेक्षा करता है कि वह ऐसे हुई रिवित को भरने के लिए 17 मार्च , 1972 से पूर्व उक्त अधिनियम के और तद्धीन बनाये गए नियमों ओरश्रादेशों के उपबन्धों के अनुसार एक व्यक्ति निर्वाचिप्त कर दें ।
[सं ० 100/ पजाब/लो० स ०/ 1/ 72 ( 1 ) ] S.O. 117 (E ) .-- In pursuanceance of section 30 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 (43 of 1951 ) the Election Commission hereby appoints , with respect to the bye -election to be held in 4 -Amritsar perliamentary constituency in the State of Punjab in pursuance of its notification No. 100 / PB- BP / 1 / 72 ( 1 ) , dated the 7th February , 1972-
(a) the 14th February , 1972 , ( Monday ) , as the last date for making nomi- nations;
(b) the 15th February , 1972 , ( Tuesday ) , as the date for the scrutiny of nominations;
( c) the 17th February , 1972 , ( Thursday) , as the last date for the with- drawal of candidatures;
(d) the 11th March , 1972 , ( Saturday) , as the date on which a poll shall , if necessary , be taken ; and
(e) the 17th March , 1972 , ( Friday ) , as the date before which the election shall be completed .

एस ० श्रो० 117 ( प्र ) . लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 30 के उपबन्धों के अनुसरण में , निर्वाचन आयोग अपनी अधिसूचना सं ० 100/पंजाब लो० स०/ 1 / 72 ( 1 ) , तारीख 7 फरवरी , 1972 के अनुसरण में , पंजाब राज्य में के 4- अमृतसर संसदीय निर्वाचन- क्षेत्र से होने वाले उप- निर्वाचन के बारे में
(क ) नाम- निर्देशन करने के लिए अन्तिम तारीख- 14 फरवरी , 1972 (सोमवार )
15 फरवरी , 1972 (ख ) माम - निर्देशनों की संवीक्षा की तारीख-
(मंगलवार)
( ग) अभ्यर्थिताएं वापस लेने की श्रन्तिम तारोख ----
17 फरवरी 1972 (बृहस्पतिवार )
(घ ) बह तारीख जिसको यदि आवश्यक हुश्श्रा-- तो मतदान होगा ।
11 मार्च , 1972 (शनिवार); और
( ङ ) वह तारीख जिसके पूर्व निर्वाचन समाप्त कर दिया जाएगा
17 मार्च , 1972 (शुक्रबार )
एतद्वारा नियत करता है ।

In pursuance of section 56 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 (43 of 1951 ) the Election Commission hereby fixes the hours from 8-00 A.M. to 5-00 P.M. as the hours during which a poll shall , if necessary , be taken for the bye-election to the House of the People from 4-Amritsar parliamentary consti- tuency, to be held in pursuance of its notification No. 100 / PB -HP / 1 / 72 ( 1 ) , dated the 7th February , 1972.

एस० प्रो० 118 ( प्र ) लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 56 के अनुमरण में , निर्वाचन प्रायोग अपनी अधिसूचना सं ० 100/पजाब/ लो ० स ०/ 1/ 72 ( 1 ) , तारीख 7 फरवरी , 1972 के श्रनुसरण में, लोक सभा के लिए 4-अमृतसर संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से होने वाले उप- निर्वाचन के लिए, 8 बजे पूर्वानु से 5 बजे अपराक्ष तक का समय के रूप में एतवद्वारा नियत करता है , जिसके दौरान यदि आवश्यक हुआ तो, मतदान होगा ।
