ORDER
New Delhi, the 8th February 1972
G.S.R. 72(E)/Ess, Com./Sugar.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955) and clause 6 of the Sugar (Control) Order, 1966, the Central Government hereby makes the following Order to amend the Sugar (Restrictions on Movement) Order, 1972, namely;—
1. (1) This Order may be called the Sugar (Restrictions on Movement) Amendment Order, 1972.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
2, In the proviso to clause 2 of the Sugar (Restrictions on Movement) Orders, 1972,—
(I) for clause (ii), the following clauses shall be substituted, namely:—
224 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)l(2) the following Explanation shall be added at the end, namely:— "Explanation.—For the purposes of clause (ii), if the transport of sugar is covered by a gate pass issued by the Central Excise authorities attached to a vacuum pan factory, it will be treated as transport from the vacuum pan factory.".
