RESOLUTION
New Delhi, the 15th February 1972
No. 202/2/72-AVD. II—The Government of India have decided that In para 8(d) of Resolution No. 24/7/64-AVD, dated the 11th February 1964, issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs constituting the Central Vigilance Commission, the fol- lowing proviso may be Inserted qjter the words "accept any political public office , namely:—
" Provided that the Central Government may In exceptional circum- stances when the public interest so requires, permit a person who has has held the office of the Central Vigilance Commissioner to accept any such employment or office".
ORDER
Ordered that a copy of this Resolution be communicated to all State Govern- ments;, all Ministries of the Government of India, etc. and also that the Resolu- tion be published in the Gazette of India.
