G.S.R. 203(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the rules regulating direct recruitment to the Central Engineering Service. Class I published with the notification of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Works, Housing and Supply No. GSE-233, dated the 10th February. 1961 namely:—

In the sold rules, in rule 7, to Clause (b), the following further proviso shall be added, namely.—

"Provided further that for the examinations to be held in 1972 and 1973, the reference to '25 years' in clause (a) and to '30 years' in clause (b) shall be construed as reference to '30 years' and '35 years' respectively". In the said rules, In rule 7, to caluse (b), the following further proviso shall be added, namely:—

"Provided further that for the examinations to bo held in 1972 and 1973, the reference to '25 years' in clause (a) and to '30 years' in clause Ob) shall be construed as reference to '30 years' and '35 years' respectively".
