CENTRAL EXCISES

New 10 Delhi, the 26th March 1972

G.S.R. 212(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby directs that in the notification or the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance), No. 36/72-Central Excises, dated the 17th March, 1972, for the words "two hundred and eighty five rupees", the words "two hundred and sixty five rupees" shall be substituted.
