IMPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Delhi, the 29th March 1972
SUBJECT.—Import and export of goods from and to Afghanistan.
No. 45-ITC(PN)/72.—In modification of Ministry of Foreign Trade Public Notice No. 21-ITC(PN)/72, dated the 5th February, 1972, it has been decided that Import and export of goods from and to Afghanistan may be permitted subject to the condition that in respect of exports of goods from India to Afghanistan, the exporter shall produce a landing certificate, Issued by the Afghan Customs authori- ties within 15 days of the arrival of the goods, to the concerned licensing authority In India/Reserve Bank of India.
2. Failure to produce the requisite landing certificate will render the exporter/, Importer concerned liable to penal action under the Imports and Exports Trade Control/Foreign Exchange rules and regulations.
