S.O. 245(E).—In pursuance of section 67 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the following declaration containing the name of the candi- date elected to fill the vacancy in the Council of States is published for genera] information:—
DECLARATION
Bye election to the Council of States by the elected members of the Legisla-
tive Assembly of Andhra Pradesh.
"In pursuance of the provisions contained in sub-section (2) of section 53 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, read with sub-rule (1) of rule 11 of the Conduct of Elections Rules, 1961, I declare that—
Sri Nuthalapati Joseph, Church Road, Chirala, Ongole District,
has been duly elected to fill the vacancy caused in that House owing to the death of Henry Samuel Mudumala. Place: Assembly Buildings, Hyderabad. Dated: 27th March, 1972.
