ORDER

New Delhi, the 30th March 1972

S.O 257(E)—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Section (1) of section

5B of the Assam Reorganisation (Meghalaya) Act, 1969 (55 of 1969), the President

hereby makes the following Order to amend the Assam Reorganisation (Meghalaya)

Distribution of Revenues Order, 1971, namely:—

1. (1) This Order may be called the Assam Reorganisation (Meghalaya) Dis-

tribution of Revenues Amendment Order, 1972,

(2) It shall come into force at once.

2. In the Assam Reorganisation (Meghalaya) Distribution of Revenues Order,

1971 in paragraph 4, for the figures "17.62" occurring under the column 1971-72,

the figures 17.07 shall be substituted.
