MINISTRY OF INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ORDER New Delhi, the 3rd April 1972
S.O. 256(E)/15/IDRA/72.—Whereas the Central Government is of the opinion that there have been instances in which it has been found that the industrial under- takings known as Messrs Macneli and Barry, Calcutta and Messrs Containers and Closures Limited, Calcutta are being managed in a manner highly detrimental to the industries in which they are engaged and to the public interest and their re- sources are being dissipated.
Now. therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Indus- tries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), and in supersession of the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industrial Development No. S.O. 5175/15/IDRA/71 dated the Kith November, 1971, the Central Government hereby appoints, for the purpose of full and complete investigation into the circum- stances leading to the mismanagement of the said industrial undertakings a body of persons consisting of: —
