NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 4th April, 1973,

G.S.R. 235.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the All India Services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951), real with sub-rule(i) and first proviso to sub-rule (2) of rule 4 of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, the Central Government consultation with the Governments of the States concerned, hereby makes the following regulations, namely:-

2. (1) These amendments shall come into force with effect from the date of its publication in the Gazette of India.

(2) These Regulations may be called the Indian Administrative Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Third Amendment Regulations, 1972.

3. The posts borne on, and the strength and composition of the Cadres of the Indian Adminis- trative Service of the various States shall be as specified in schedule to these regulations :
