IMPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Delhi, the 8th April, 1972
SUBJECT.—Information regarding import of goods from Yugoslavia.
No. 52-ITC(PN)/72.—The Government of India and Yugoslavia have agreed to terminate the current Rupee Trade & Payments Agreement between them on 3lst December, 1972.
2. As 1972 1st the terminal year of Rupee payment arrangement and as the trade between the two countries this year Is required to be balanced it Is neces- sary that all importers on receipt of shipments .from Yugoslavia during 1672 promptly Inform the Officer on Special Duty (Yugoslavia), Ministry of Foreign Trade, Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi furnishing the following details;—

It will be necessary lor all Indian Importers to ensure that payments agaH contracts are completed before 31st December, 1972 as thereafter no contract or portion of the unlmplemented contract for payment in Indian rupees, will be considered as valid.
