NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 11th April, 1972

S. O. 282(E) In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section(i) of section 63 A of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1939 (4 of 1939) , the Central Government hereby appoints Shri K. Sivaraj, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Shipping and Transport, Government of India, as Chairman of the Inter State Transport Commission vice Shri K. Narayanan, retired, and makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Shipping and Trans- port No. S.O. I618, dated, the n th April, 1969, namely :—

In the said notification, for item (1) and the entry relating thereto, the following item and entry shall be substituted, namely :—

"(1) Shri K. Sivaraj, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Shipping and Transport, Govern- ment of India. —Chairman".
