G.S.R. 245 ( E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of ction 3 of the All - India Services Act, 1951 ( 61 of 1951 ) , and in pursuance of le 7 of the Indian Administrative Service ( Recruitment ) Rules . 1954, the entral GovernmenGovernment , after consultationconsultation with the State Governments concerned id the Union Public Service Commission , hereby makes the following regula- ons further to amend the Indian Administrative Service ( Appointment by Com- etitive Examination ) Regulations , 1955 , namely :
1. (1 ) These regulations may be called the Indian Administrative Service (Appointment by Competitive Examination ) ---Amendment Regulations , 1972 .
( 2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In the Indian Administrative Service ( Appointment by Competitive Examination) Regulations . 1955, in condition ( ii ) of regulation 4, for the figures "24" , the figures " 26" shall be substituted .

सा० सां० ति ० 245 ( अ) अखिल भारतीय सेवा अधिनियम, 1951 ( 1951 का 61) की धारा 3 की उपधारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और भारतीय प्रशासन सेवा (भर्ती ) नियम , 1954 के नियम 7 के अनुसरण में केन्द्रीय सरकार सम्बन्धिन राज्य सरकारों और संघ लोक सेवा आयोग से परामर्श करने के पश्चात् भारतीय प्रशासन सेवा ( प्रतियोगिता परीक्षा द्वारा नियुक्ति ) विनियम , 1955 में और संशोधन करने के लिए एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित विनियम बनाती है, अर्थात:-
1. ( 1 ) ये विनियम भारतीय प्रशासन सेवा ( प्रतियोगिता परीक्षा द्वारा नियुक्ति) -संशोधन विनियम , 1972 कहे जा सकेंगे ।
( 2 ) ये विनियम राजपत्न में प्रकाशन की तारीख से लागू होगे ।
2. भारतीय प्रशासन सेवा ( प्रतियोगिता परीक्षा द्वारा नियुक्ति) विनियम , 1955 में विनियम 4 के प्रतिबन्ध ( ii ) में " 24 " अंक के स्थान पर " 26 " अंक प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा ।

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of sec- tion 3 of the All - India Services Act , 1951 (61 of 1951 ) , and in pursuance of rule 7 of the Indian Police Service ( Recruitment ) Rules , 1954 , the Central Govern- ment, after consultation with the State Governments concerned and the Union Public Service Commission , hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Indiandian PolicePolice ServiceService ( Appointment by Competitive Examination) , Regulations , 1955, namely:-
1. ( 1 ) These regulations may be called the Indian Police Service ( Appointment by Competitive Examination ) Amendment Regulations , 1972 .
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .

लोक सेवा आयोग से परामर्श करने के पश्चात् भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( प्रतियोगिता परीक्षा द्वार। नियुक्ति) विनियम , 1955 में और संशोधन करने के लिए एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित विनियम बनाती है , अर्थात:--
1. ( 1 ) ये विनियम भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( प्रतियोगिता परीक्षा द्वारा नियुक्ति -संशोधन विनियम, 1972 कहे जा सकेंगें ।
( 2 ) ये विनियम राजपत्त्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख से लागू होंगे ।
