New Delhi, the 28th April 1972
G.S.R. 264(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the first and second provisions to sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Government of Union Territories Act, 1963 (20 of 1963), the Central Government hereby appoints the 29th day of April, 1972, as the date on which section 54 of the said Act shall come into force in the Union Territory of Mizoram.
