S.O. 320 ( E ) .- Whereas a vacancy has occurred in the House of the People by reason of the resignation of Shri Ghanshyambhai Chhotalal Oza , a member elect- ed to that house from 3 - Rajkot parliamentary constituency in the State of Gujarat;
Now , therefore , in pursuance of the provisions of sub - section ( 1 ) of section pursua 149 of the Representation of the People Act 1951 (43 of(43 of 1951 ) , the Election Com- mission hereby calls upon the said constituency to elect before the 31st May, 1972, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the Rules and Orders made thereunder , a person to fill the said vacancy .

एस ० प्रो ० 320 ( प्र ) -यतः, गुजरात राज्य में के 3 - राजकोट संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से लोक सभा के लिए निर्वाचित सदस्य श्री घनश्याम भाई छोटालाल श्रोशा के त्याग पन दे दिए जाने के कारण उस सभा में एक स्थान रिक्त हो गया है ;

अतः , अब, लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 149 की उपधारा ( 1 ) के उपबन्धों के अनुसरण में, निर्वाचन आयोग उक्त निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से एतद्वारा यह अपेक्षा करता है कि वह ऐसे हुई रिक्ति को भरने के लिए 31 मई , 1972 से पूर्व , उक्त अधिनियम के और तञ्चीन बनाए गए नियमों और श्रादेशों के उपबन्धों के अनमार एक व्यक्ति निर्वाचित कर दें ।

8.O. 321 ( E ) . In pursuance of the provisions of section 30 of the Representation of the PeoplePeople Act, 1951, ( 43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commission hereby appoints , with respect to the bye - election to be held in 3 - Rajkot parliamentary constitu- ency in the State of Gujarat in pursuance of its notification No. 100/ GJ - HP /1 /72 , dated the 28th April, 1972 :
(a) the 5th May , 1972 ( Friday ) as the last date for making nominations ;
(b ) the 6th May , 1972 ( Saturday ) as the last date for the scrutiny of nomi- nations;
(c ) the 8th May , 1972 ( Monday ) as the last date for the withdrawal of candidatures .
necessary , be taken; and (d) the 28th May , 1972 ( Sunday ) as the date on which a poll shall , if (e ) the 31st May , 1972 ( Wednesday ) as the date before which the election shall be completed.

एस० श्र ० 321 ( प्र ). लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 130 के उपबन्धों के अनूमरण मे , निर्वाचन आयोग अपनी अधिसूचना सं ० 100/ गुज /लो ० सं० /1/ 72 , तारीख 28 अप्रैल, 1972 के अनुसरण में , गुजरात राज्य में के 3 राजकोट संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से होने वाले उप- निर्वाचन के बारे में-
5 मई, 1972 ( शुक्रवार ) ;
(क) नामनिर्देशन करने के लिये अन्तिम तारीख
6 मई, 1972 ( शनिवार ) ;
(ख ) नामनिर्देशनों की संवीक्षा की तारीख
8 मई, 1972 ( सोमबार ) ;
(ग ) अभ्यथिताएँ वापस लेने की अन्तिम तारीख
28 मई, 1972 ( रविवार ) , तथा (घ ) वह तारीख , जिसको यदि आवश्यक हो तो मतदान होगा
(ड) वह तारीख, जिसके पूर्व निर्वाचन समाप्त कर दिया
जाएएमा
31 मई, 1972 ( बुधवार)
एतद्वारा नियत करता है ।

In pursuance of section 56 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 (43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commission hereby fixes the hours from 8.00 A.M. to 5.00 PM . as the hours during which a poll shall , if necessary , be taken for the election to the House of the People from 3 - Rajkot parliamentary constituency, to be held in pursuance of its notification No. 100 /GJ-HP/1 / 72 , dated the 23th April , 1972 .

एस० प्रो ० 322 ( अ ) लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 56 के अनुसरण में , निर्वाचन आयोग अपनी अधिसूचना स ० 100/ गुज ० लो ० स ०/ 1/ 72 , तारीख 28 अप्रैल , 1972 के अनुसरण में, 3- राजकोट संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से लोक सभा के लिए होने वाले निर्वाचन के लिए 8.00 बजे पूर्वाह्न से 5.00 बजे अपराह्न तक का समय उस समय के रूप में एतद्वारा नियत करता है जिसक दं.रान यदि आवश्यक हो तो, मतदान होगा ।
