S.O. 432 - A ( E ) .- Whereas a seat has been allocated in the Council of States to be filled by the representatives of the Union territory of Mizoram as shown in the Fourth Schedule to the Constitution of India;
And whereas an election has to be held to fill the seat ;
And whereas under the North- Eastern Areas Reorganisation ( Removal of Difficulties ) Order No. 1 , dated the 21st March , 1972 , the said election is to be held in accordance with the provisions of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 ( 43 of 1951 ) , and the rules and orders made thereunder as if it were a bye- election to fill a casual vacancy in the Council of States;
Now, therefore , in pursuance of the provisions of sub - section ( 1 ) of section 147 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 , read with sub - section (4 ) of section 27A and section 27H of the Representation of the People Act , 1950 ( 43 of 1950 ) , the Election Commission hereby calls upon the members of the electoral college for the Union territory of Mizoram to elect, in accordance with the pro- visions of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 , and of the rules and orders made thereunder , a person to fill the seat before the 6th July , 1972 ( Thursday ) .

एस ० प्रो० 432- ए ० ( २० ) .-यतः , भारत के संविधान की चतुर्थ अनुसूची में यथा शित मीजोराम संघ राज्य क्षेत्र के प्रतिनिधियों द्वारा भरे जाने के लिए राज्य सभा में एक स्थान आंवटित किया गया है
ौर, यतः , अब उस स्थान को भरने के लिए निर्वाचन किया जाना है ; और, यतः , पूर्वोत्तर , क्षेत्र पुनर्गठन ( कठिनाइयों का निराकरण ) आदेश सं ० 1 , तारीख 21 मार्च , 1972 के अधीन उक्त निर्वाचन लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) के भौर तद्धीन बनाए गए नियमों और आदेशों के उपबंधों के अनुसार इस प्रकार किया जाना है, मानों यह राज्यसभा में हुई एक आकस्मिक रिक्ति को भरने के लिए एक उप - निर्वाचन हो ।
अतः अब , लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1950 ( 1956 का 43 ) की धारा 27 क की उप-धारा ( 4 ) और धारा 27 ज के साथ पठित लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 की धारा 147 की उपधारा ( 1 ) के उपबंधों के अनुसरण में , निर्वाचन आयोग मीजोराम संघ राज्यक्षेत्न के लिए निर्वाचकगण के सदस्यों से एतद्वारा यह अपेक्षा करता है कि वे उस स्थान को भरने के लिए 6 जुलाई, 1972 ( बृहस्पतिवार ) से पूर्व , लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 के और तद्धीन बनाए गए नियमों और श्रादेशों के उपबंधो के अनुसार एक व्यक्ति निर्वाचन कर दें ।
[सं 100 र ० स ० - मिजो 6/72 ( 1) ] S.O. 432 - B ( E ) .---In pursuance of the provisions of sub - section ( 1 ) of section 39 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 , the Election Commission hereby appoints for the election to the Council of States to be held in pursuance of its notification No. 100 / CS - MIZ / 6 / 72 ( 1 ) , dated the 16th June , 1972 :-
(a) the 23rd June , 1972 ( Friday ) , as the last date for making nominations : (b) the 24th June , 1972 ( Saturday ) , as the date for the scrutiny of nomi- nations; (c) the 26th June , 1972 ( Monday ) , as the last date for the withdrawal of candidatures ;
(d) the 4th July , 1972 ( Tuesday ) , as the date on which a poll shall , if (e) the 6th July , 1972 ( Thursday ) , as the date before which the election necessary, be taken ; and shall be completed .

एस ० प्रो० 432- बी० ( श्र ० ) लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 की धारा 39 की उपधारा ( 1 ) के उपबंधों के अनुसरण में, निर्वावन अध्योग अपनी अधिसूचना सं ० 100/ रा ० स०- मीजो/ 6/ 72- (1 ) , तारीख 16 जून , 1972 के अनुसरण में, राज्य सभा के लिए होने वाले निर्वाचन के बारे में--
(क) नानिर्देशन करने के लिए अन्तिम तारीख--23 जून, 197: ( शुक्रवार ) ;
(ख) नाम निर्देशनों की संवीक्षा की तारीख-24 जून, 1972 ( शनिवार ) ;
(ग ) अम्यथिताये वापस लेने के लिए अन्तिम तारीख- 26 जून , 1972 ( सोमवार) ;
( घ ) यह तारीख जिसको यदि अ.वश्यक हो, तो मतदान होगा-4 जुलाई, 1972 (मंगलवार ) ; तथा
( ङ ) वह तारीख जिसके पूर्व निर्वाचन समाप्त कर दिया जाएग।। जुलाई, 1972 (बृहस्पतिवार)

8.O. 432 - C ( E ) . In pursuance of section 36 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 , the Election Commission hereby fixes the hours from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. as the hourshours during which a poll shall, if necessary, be taken for the election to the Council of States to be held in pursuance of its notification No. 100 / CS - MIZ / 6 / 72 ( 1 ) , dated the 16th June , 1972 .

एस ० प्रा०-432-सी ० (श्र ० ) लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 की धारा 56 के अनुसरण में, निर्वाचन आयोग अपनी अधिसूचना सं ० 100 / रा ० म ० मोजो/ 6/ 72 ( 1 ) , तारीख 16 जून , 1972 के अनुसरण में, राज्य सभा के लिए होने वाले निर्वाचन के लिए 10-00 बजे पूर्वाह्न से 1-00 बजे अनरन्ह तक का समय उस समय के रूप में एतद्वारा नियत करता हैं , जिसके दौरान यदि आवश्यक हुआ तो मतदान होगा ।

एस ० श्रो०-432- डी० ( श्र ०) लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 की धारा 21 के उपबंर्थों के अनुसरण में, निर्वाचन श्र.योग मीजोर्म सरकार के परामर्श से अपनी अधिसूचना सं ० 100/ रा ० स ० - मीजो ०/ 6/ 72 ( 1 ) , तारीख 16 जून , 1972 के अनुसरण में राज्य सभा के लिए होने वाले निर्वाचन के लिए उपायुक्त ऐजल को रिटर्निंग श्राफिसर के रूप में एतदद्वारा पदाभिहित करता है ।

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 22 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 , the Election Commission hereby appoints the Additional Deputy Commissioner , Aijal, to assist the Returning Officer for the election to the Council of States to be held in pursuance of its notification No. 100 / CS- MIZ / 6 / 72 ( 1 ) , dated the 16th June , 1972. in the perform- ance of his functions
