ORDER

New Delhi, the 20th June 1972

G.S.R. 315(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), the Central Government hereby rescinds, with immediate effect, the orders of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Community Development and Cooperation (Department of Food) Nos. G.S.R. 1111, 1078, 1524 dated respectively the 24th July, 1967 25th April, 1969, 6th October, 1971:

Provided that such rescission shall not affect the previous operation of the said Orders or any order made thereunder by a State Government and anything duly done under such Order by the State Government concerned or by any officer or authority subordinate to the State Government concerned.
