NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 23rd June 1972
G.S.R. 322(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 of the General Insurance (Emergency Provisions) Act, 1971 (17 of 1971) the Central Govern- ment hereby makes the following rules to amend the General Insurance (Emer- gency Provisions) Rules, 1971, namely: —
1. (1) These rules may be called the General Insurance (Emergency Pro- visions) Amendment Rules, 1972.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In clause (a) of rule 3 of the General Insurance (Emergency Provisions) Rules, 1971, for the figures, letters and words "30th day of June, 1972" in the two places where they occur, the figures, letters and words "31st day of December 1972" shall be substituted.
