No. R8. 7/l/70-L.(2).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (4) of rule 220 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business In the Council of States (Rajya Sabha), the Chairman, Rajya Sabha, hereby appoints the 1st day of July. 1972. as the date on which the amendments to the Rules published under Notification No. RS 7/l/70-L.(1). dated the 1st July, 1972, in the Gazette of India Extraordinary of the 1st July, 1972, shall come into force.
