NOTIFICATION

CENTRAL EXCISES

New Delhi, the 7th July 1972

G.S.R. 332 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by rules 12 and 12A of the- Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments to the notification of Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No. 81/70-Central Excises, dated the 15th April, 1970, namely:—

In column (3) of the table annexed to the said notification:—

(i) for the entry "30 per cent of the sale price in excess of Rs. 11 per kg. subject to a maximum of 75 paise per Kg.", the entry "30 per cent of the sale price in excess of Rs. 11.20 per kg. subject to a maximum of 75 paise per kg." shall be substituted;

(ii) for the entry "30 per cent of the price in excess of Rs. 7.50 per kg. subject to a maximum of 75 paise per kg.", the entry "30 per cent of the sale price in excess of Rs. 7.70 per kg. subject to a maximum of 75 paise per kg." shall be substituted; (iii) for the entry "30 per cent of the sale price in excess of Rs. 6.50 per kg. subject to a maximum of 75 paise per kg." the entry "30 per cent ( 857 ) €58 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY [PART U—SEC. 3(i)/
