IMPORT TRADE CONTROL

SUBJECT,—List of I.D.A. industries.
No. 104-ITC(PN)/72.—Attention is invited to Appendix 53 of the Import Trade Control Policy (Red Book—Vol. I) for April 1972—March 1973 which contains the list of I.D.A. industries.
2. The existing list of I.D.A. industries has been revised and appears in the Annexure to this Public Notice.
3. Appendix 53 of the Import Trade Control Policy (Red Book Vol. I) for April 1972—March 1973 and Appendix 6 of the Import Trade Control Hand Book of Rules and Procedure for 1972-73 may be deemed to have been amended accordingly.
4. Changes in the list of I.D.A. industries as announced in this Public Notice will take effect in respect of Applications for import Licences made on or alter 1st August, 1972.

1. Commercial vehicles (trucks and buses).
2. Agricultural tractors.
3. Automotive components, the following:—
(i) Tyres and tubes (rubber);
(ii) Auto-electricals and batteries;
(ill) Radiators;
(iv) Fuel systems:
(v) Pistons, shafts, bearings, valves and seals;
(vi) Clutch and brake systems;
(vii) Wheels and shock absorbers: and
(viii) Other parts.
4. Machine tools.
5. Cutting tools, small tools and abrasives.
6. Electric motors (above 1 H.P.)
7. Fertilisers;
(1) Nitrogenous,
(ii) Phosphatic.
8. Pesticides. (Technical).
9. Aluminium.
10. Ball and Roller bearings.
11. Power tillers.
12. Power transformers upto 33 K.V.
13. Switch gear and control gear.
14. Electrical steel stampings and laminations.
