New Delhi , the 19th July 1972
S.O. 494 ( E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - paragraph ( 1 ) of paragraph 52 of the Employees ' Provident Funds Scheme and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India , in the Ministry of Labour and Rehabilitation ( Department of Labour and Employment ) No. S.O. 396E , dated the 31st May, 1972 , the Central Government hereby directs that accumulations out of

the provident fund contributions , interest and other receipts as reduced by obliga- tory outgoings , shall be invested in accordance with the following pattern . namely:-
From Ist July 1972 From 1st October 1972 to 30th Septem- to 31st March , 1973 ber . 1972 .

( i ) Central Government securities and Small Savings ( other than Post Office Time Deposits) .

( ii ) State Government securities and State or Central Government guaranteed securities .

Provided that any shortfall in investment in the securities referred at ( ii ) , during the period from 1st April , 1972 to 30th June , 1972 , shall be made up during the period from 1st July 1972 to 31st March, 1973. so that the overall investment in these securities during 1972-73 should be 25 per cent .
2. All re - investment of provident fund accumulations ( whether invested in securities created and issued by the Central Government or in savings certificates issued by the Central Government or in securities created and issued by a State Government ) shall also be made according to the pattern mentioned in paragraph 1 above .
3. This notification shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the 1st July , 1972 .

का० पा० 494 ( प्र ) . कर्मचारी भविष्य निधि स्कीम के पैरा 52 के उप -पैरा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और भारत सरकार के श्रम और पुनर्वास मंत्रालय ( श्रम और रोजगार विभाग ) की अधिसूचना संख्या का ० आ ० 396 ङ तारीख 31 मई , 1972 के क्रम में केन्द्रीय सरकार एसद्वारा निदेश देती है कि भविष्य निधि अभिदायों के सन्चयनों, ब्याज और अन्य प्राप्तियों , को बाध्यकार निर्गमों को कम करके , निम्नलिखित नमूने के अनुसार विनिहित किया जाएगा, अर्थात्:---

बशर्ते कि ( ii ) में निर्दिष्ट प्रतिभूतियों में निबेश में पहली अप्रैल , 1972 से 30 जून , 1972 के दौरान हुई कमी पहली जुलाई , 1972 से 31 मार्च, 1973 के दौरान पूरी कर ली जाएगी ताकि 1972-73 में इन प्रतिभूतियों में सारा निवेश 25 प्रतिशत हो जाए ।
2. भविष्य निधि संचयनों के मभी पुनविनिधान ( चाहे केन्द्रीय सरकार द्वारा सृष्ट और जारी को गई प्रतिभूतियों में विनिहित किए जाएं या केन्द्रीय सरकार द्वारा जारी किए गए बचन प्रमाण -पत्रों में या किसी राज्य सरकार द्वारा सृष्ट श्रौर जारी की गई प्रतिभूतिमों ) भी ऊपर पैरा -1 में उपर्वाणन नमूने के अनुसार किए जाएंगे ।
3. यह अधिसूचना पहली जुलाई , 1972 से लागू हुई समन्नी जायेगी ।
