NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 11th August 1972
G.S.R. 373 ( E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Passport (Entry into India ) Act , 1920 ( 34 of 1920 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Passport ( Entry into India ) Rules , 1950 , namely:-
1. ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Passport ( Entry into India ) Amendment Rules, 197
( 2 ) They shall come into force at once .
2. In the Passport ( Entry into India ) Rules , 1950 , in clause ( iii ) of rule 5 , in the fourth proviso, for the words " resident in Kenya " , the words " resident in Kenya or in Uganda, as the case may be , " shall be substituted .
