NOTIFICATIONS

S.O. 541 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 18 of the Forward Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1952 (74 of 1952), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Commerce No. S.O. 4381, dated the 24th December, 1964, namely:—

In the said notification the word "cottonseed" shall be omitted.

S.O. 542(E),—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 15 of the Forward Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1952 (li of 1952), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Commerce No. S.O. 4382, dated the 24th December, 1964, namely:—

In the said notification, the word "cottonseed" shall be omitted.

S.O. 543(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 17 of the Forward Contracts (Regulation), Act, 1952 (714 of 1952), the Central Government hereby further amends the notification of the Government of India In the late Ministry of Commerce and Industry No. S.R-O. 242 dated the 25th January, 1955 as amended by Notification No. S.R.O. 571 dated the 6th March, 1956 in the following maimer.

In the said notification, the entries "(iv) Coconut Oil" and "(v) Sesamum Oil" shall be omitted and the entries (vi) and fvii) shall be renumbered as entries (iv) -ond (v) respectively.

S.O. 544(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Section (1) of Sec- -Uoh 15 of the Forward Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1952, (74 of 1952), the Central Government hereby declares that the said Section shall apply to coconut oil in the •whole of India except the State of Kerala.

S.O. 545(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Section (1) of Sec- tion 15 of the Forward Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1952 (74 of 1952), the Central Government hereby declares that the said Section shall apply to sesamum oil in the whole of India.

S.O. 546(E)—In exercise of the powers, conferred by Sub-Section (3) of Sec- tion 18 of the Forward Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1952, (74 of 1952), the Central •Government hereby rescinds the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, No. S.R.O, 279, dated the 25th January. 1955.

S.O. 547(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 17 of the Forward Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1952 (74 of 1952), the Central Government hereby rescinds the notification of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Commerce and Industry, No. S-R.O. 280, dated the 25th January, 1955

S.O. 548(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred hy Sub-Section (1) of Sec- tion 15 of the Forward Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1952 (74 of 1952), the Central Government hereby declares that the said Section shall apply to sesamum (Til or Jinjili) and copra within the limits of Greater Bombay es defined in the Bombay General Clauses Act, 1904 (Bombay Act I of 1904).

S.O. 549(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (I) of sec- tion 15 of the Forward Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1052 (74 of 1952), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Commerce and Industry S.R.O. 241, dated the 25th January, 1955, namely:-—

Ih the said notification, the entry (ii) 'kardiseed' shall be omitted.

S.O. 550(E).—In exercise of the powers, conferred by Sub-Section (1) of Sec- tion 15 of the Forward Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1952 (74 of 1952), the Central Government hereby declares that the said Section shall apply to kardiseed and kardiseed oil in the whole of India, and fixes under Clause (a) of Section 16 of the said Act, the rate prevailing at the time at which the forward market in the aforesaid goods closed on the date of this notillcation, or, if there was. no trading on that date, on the last preceding date of trading, as the rate at which any such forward contract entered into on or before the date of this notification and remaining to be performed after the said date shall ne deemed to be closed.

S.O. 551(E).—Whereas the Central Government is of the opinion that in the Interest of the trade and in the public interest it is expedient to regulate "nd control non-transferable specific delivery contracts in respect of cottonseed, coconut oil, sesamum (Til or Jinjili), copra, sesamum oil, kardiseed and kardieeed oil;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Sec- tion 18 of the Forward Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1852 (74 of 1952), the Central Government hereby¹ declares that the provisions of Sections 5 to 14 (both inclusive) and Section 15 of the said Act shall apply to non-transferable specific delivery contracts in respect of the aforesaid tfond^ in thp whole rj. India.

S.O. 552(E).—In exerqise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Sec- tion 17 of the Forward Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1952, (74 of 1952), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Commerce and Industry No, S.R.O 244, dated the 25th January, 1955, namely:—

In the said notification, the entries "(li) Sesamum (Til or Jinjili)" and "(iv) Copra" shall be omitted.

"46, dated the 25th January, 1955, namely:—
