NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 21st August 1972
G.S.R. 384(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the All India Services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951) read with rule 11 of the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Rules, 1954, the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Rules, 1954, namely:—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Thirteenth Amendment Rules, 1972.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Rules, 1954, in Schedule III-C, for the existing note at the end of entries relating to the Ministries or Offices included in Schedule III-C, the following note shall be substituted, namely:—
"NOTE.—"Wherever a special pay of Rs. 300 is indicated, pay in Selection
Grade plus special pay shall not exceed Rs. 2250."
