ORDER
New Delhi, the 22nd August 1972
G.S.R. 380(E)/Ess.Com/Sugar.-In exercise of powers conferred by clause 5 of the Sugar (Control) Order, 1966. the Central Government hereby makes the following Order to amend the Sugar (Packing and Marking) Order, 1970, namely:—
1. (1) This Order may be called the Sugar (Packing and Marking) Amendment Order, 1972.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
2. To item (ii) of sub-clause (2) of Clause 4 of the Sugar (Packing and Marking) Order, 1970, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:—
Provided that in case of sugar not conforming to Indian Sugar Standard Grade, the label on the bag shall, instead of the Mark ''ISS bear the Mark "NON I.S.S. GRADE".
