NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 26th August 1972
S. O. 566(E)—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 74 of the Patents Act, 1970 (39 of 1970), the Central Government hereby establishes, with effect from the 8th day of September, 1972, branch offices of the patent office at Bombay and Madras, and also specifies the territorial limits within which each of the said offices of the patent office shall exercise its functions under the said Act, us follows:—
Branch office of the patent office
at Bombay.
The States of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maha- vashtra and the Union territories of Goa, Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
Branch office of the patent office
at Madras.
The states of Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Mysore and Tamil Nadu and the Union territories of Laccadive, Minicoy and Amindivi Islands and Pondicherry.
