NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 29th August 1972
G.S.R. 395 ( E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - clause ( 1 ) of clause 4 of the Vegetable Oil Products Control Order , 1947 , as continued in force by sub- section ( 2 ) of section 16 of the Essential Commodities Act , 1955 ( 10 of 1955 ) , the Vegetable Oil Products Controller for India makes the following Order to amend the Vegetable Oil Products ( Standards of Quality ) Order , 1972 , No. G.S.R. 87 ( E ) , dated the 19th February , 1972 , namely :-
1. ( 1 ) This Order shall be called the Vegetable Oil Products ( Standards of Quality ) Amendment Order , 1972 .
(2) It shall come into force on the 1st September , 1972 .
2. In clause 2 of the Vegetable Oil Products ( Standards of Quality ) Order, 1972,-
( i ) in sub - clause ( 1 ) , in para ( a ) , item ( vi ) shall be omitted ;

( ii ) în sub - clause ( 2 ) , for para ( a ) , the following para shall be substituted , namely:-
" ( a) The product shall contain not less than 10.0 per cent by weight of one or more of the following refined vegetable oils , namely :-
( i ) Refined safflower ( kardiseed ) 011 .
( ii ) Refined sesame oil ,
( 111 ) Refined sunflower oil .
Provided that the content of refined sesame oil shall not be less than 5.0 per cent by weight , but sufficient to ensure that the product conforms to the specifica- tions for Baudouin Test prescribed under sub - clause ( 7 ) " ;
( ili ) in sub -clause ( 7 ) , for item ( vi ) , the following item shall be substituted, namely:-
" ( vl ) Baudouin test ( as described in Note II below ) :
Not less than 2.0 red units "

सा० का ० नि ० 395 ( प्र ) नस्पति तेल उत्पाद नियत्रण आदेश , 1947 जो श्रावण्यक वस्तु अधिनियम , 1955 ( 1955 का 10 ) की धारा 16 की उपधारा ( 2 ) द्वारा प्रवृत्त बना हुआ है, के खंड 4 के उप- खण्ड ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , भारत के वनस्पति तेल उत्पाद नियंत्रक एतदद्वारा बनस्पति तेल उत्पाद ( क्वालिटी के मानक ) आदेश , 1972 सं ० सा ० का ० नि ० 87 ( ई ) तारीख 19 फरवरी , 1972 में और आगे निम्नलिखित संशोधन करते हैं , अर्थात्:---
1. ( 1 ) इस आदेश का नाम वनस्पति तेल उत्पाद ( क्वालिटी के मानक ) संशोधन आदेश , 1972 है ।
( 2 ) यह 1 सितम्बर, 1972 को प्रवृत्त होगा ।
2. वनस्पति तेल उत्पाद ( क्वालिटी के मानक ) आदेश , 1972 के खण्ड 2 में ,---
( i ) उपखंड ( 1 ) के पैरा ( क ) में, मद ( 4 ) लुप्त कर दी जाएगी ;
(ii) उपखंड ( 2 ) में, पैरा ( क ) के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित पैरा प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा, अर्थात :
" (क) उत्पाद में निम्नलिखित एक या एक से अधिक परिष्कृत वनस्पति तेल वजन के 10 प्रतिशत से अन्यून में होंगे, अर्थात:--
(i ) परिष्कृत कुसुम्भ ( करड़ी ) तेल , THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY [PART II- SEC . 3 ( 1 ) ]

( ii ) परिष्कृत तिल्ली का तेल ,
( iii ) परिष्कृत सुरजमुखी का तेल:
परन्तु परिष्कृत तिल्ली के तेल की मात्रा वजन के 5 प्रतिशत से अन्यून होगी , परन्तु जो यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए पर्याप्त हो कि उत्पाद उप खन्ड ( 7 ) के अधीन विहित बोडोइन परीक्षन के लिए विनिर्देशों के अनुरूप है । ;
( iii ) उपखंण्ड ( 7 ) में, मद ( vi ) के स्थान पर , निम्नलिखित मद प्रतिस्थापित की जाएगी अर्थात :--
(vi ) बोडोइन परीक्षण ( नीचे टिप्पण 11 में यथाणित )
