New Delhi, the 9th September 1972
G.S.R. 405(E).—In this Ministry's Notification No. Q(PB)578(2)72, dated the 8th July, 1972 relating to rules for the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for inclusion in the Select List for the integrated Grades II & III of the General Cadre of the Indian Foreign Service. Branch 'B' to be held by the Union Public Service Commission in 1973, the following amendment shall be made:
Rule 4(2) (a) and the proviso thereunder are substituted by the following:
"(2) Age (a) —He should not he more than 45 yearn of age, i.e. he must not have been born earlier than 1st January, 1928."
