New Delhi , the 27th September 1972
S.O. 625 ( E ) .- Whereas a vacancy has occurred in the House of the People by reason of the death of Shri Indulal Kanaiyalal Yagnik , a member elected to that House from 9 -Ahmedabad Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Gujarat;
Now , therefore , in pursuance of the provisions of sub - section ( 1 ) of section 149 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 ( 42 of 1951 ) , the Election Commission hereby cal's upon the said constituency to clect before the 4th November , 1972 , in accordance with the provisions of the sald Act and of the Rules and Orders made thereunder , a person for fill the said vacancy .

श्रतः , अब , लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951का 43 ) की धारा 149 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) के उपबन्धों के अनुसरण में निर्वाचन आयोग उक्त निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से एतद्वारा अपेक्षा करता है कि वे ऐसे हुई रिक्ति को भरने के लिए 4 नवम्बर , 1972 से पूर्व , उक्त अधिनियम के और तद्धीन बनाये गये नियमों और श्रादेशों के उपबन्धों के अनुसार एक व्यक्ति निर्वाचित कर दें ।

S.O. 626 ( E ) . In pursuance of the provisions of section 30 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 ( 43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commission hereby appoints , with respect to the bye - election to be held in 9 - Ahmedabad Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Gujarat in pursuance of its notification No. 100 /GJ - HP/ 2 /72 (1 ), dated the 27th September , 1972 ,-
( a) the 4th October , 1972 ( Wednesday ) nominations ; as the last date for making (b ) the 5th October , 1972 ( Thursday ) as the date for the scrutiny of nominations;
(c) the 7th October , 1972 ( Saturday ) as the last date for the withdrawal of candidatures ;
( d) the 29th October , 1972 ( Sunday ) as the date on which a poll anall, if necessary, be taken ; and
( e) the 4th November , 1972 ( Saturday ) as the date before which the election shall be completed .

एस० श्रो० 626 ( प्र) लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43) की धारा 30 के उपबन्धों के अनुसरण में निर्वाचन आयोग अपनी अधिसूचना सं० 100 / गुज ० -लो ० स०/ 2/ 72 (1 ) , तारीख 27 सितम्बर , 1972 के अनुसरण में गुजरात राज्य में के 9 अहमदाबाद संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र ने होने वाले उप - निर्वाचन के बारे में
अन्तिम 4 अक्टूबर , 1972 ( बुधवार ) ;
( क ) नामनिर्देशन करने के निए तारीख
(ख) नामनिर्देशनों की मत्रांझा का नारोब 5 अक्टूबर, 1972 ( बृहस्पतिवार ) ;
( ग ) अभ्यथिताए वापग लेने की अन्तिम तारीख
7 अक्टूबर, 1972 ( शनिवार ) ;
( घ ) वह तारीख जिमको यदि अबण्यक हो , तो मतदान होगा; तथा
29 अक्टूबर , 1972 ( रविवार ) ;
4 नवम्बर , 1972 ( शनिवार) (ङ) वह तारीख जिसके पूर्व निर्वाचन समाप्त कर दिया जाएगा एतद्वारा नियत करता है ।

S.O. 627 ( E ) .-In pursuance of section 56 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commission hereby fixes the hours from 8-00 a.m. to 5-00 p.m , as the hours during which a poll shall, if necessary , be taken for the bye -election to the House of the People from 9 -Ahmedabad Parliamentary Constituency to be held in pursuance of its notification No. 100 / GJ - HP / 2 / 72 ( 1 ) , dated the 27th September , 1972 .

एस ० श्रो० 627 ( प्र) लोक सभा प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 6 के अनुसरण में निर्वाचन आयोग अपनी अधिसूचना म ० 100/ गुज०-लो० स ० / 2/ 72 ( 1 ) , तारीख 27 सितम्बर , 1972 के अनुसरण में 9 -अहमदाबाद संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से लोक सभा के लिए होने वाले उप - निर्वाचन के लिए 8-00 बजे पूर्वान्ह से 5-00 बजे अपरान्ह तक का समय उस समय के रूप में एतद्वारा नियत करता है जिए के दौरान यदि आवश्यक हो तो, मतदान होगा ।
