EXPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Delhi, the 7th October, 1972
SUBJECT.—Export of hand woven woollen carpets, woollen chain stitched rugs and hand woven woollen carpets of Indo Persian and Mobarik designs upto 32,000 knots sq, metre.
Reference.—Ministry of Foreign Trade Public Notice Wo. 20-ETC(PN)/72 dated the 26th September, 1972, on the above subject.
No. 23-ETC(PN)/72.—It has further been decided by the Ministry of Foreign Trade that exports of consignments of hand woven woollen carpets of Indo-Persian type below Rs. 60 contracted lor by 31st March, 1972 (when no price control existed) be allowed, provided such contracts had been registered with the Export Inspection. Council and are now certified by the Handicrafts and Handlooms Exports Corporation of India Ltd., till 15th October, 1972. It is also notified that no further extension will be allowed.
