G.S.R. 433 ( E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 3 of the All India Services Act , 1951 ( 61 of 1951 ) read with sub - rule ( 2 ) of rule 4 of the Indian Administrative Service ( Cadre ) Rules , 1954 , the Central Government hereby makes the following regulations , namely:-
2. ( 1) These regulations may be called the. Indian Administrative Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength ) sixth Amendment Regulations , 1972 .
( 2 ) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .

सा० का ० नि० 433 ( अ ) -भारतीय प्रशासन सेवा ( संवर्ग ) नियम, 1954 में नियम 4 के उप नियम ( 2 ) के साघ पठित अखिल भारतीय सेवा अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 61 ) की धारा 3 की उपधारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केन्द्रीय सरकार एसद्वारा निम्न- लिखित विनियम बनाती है, अर्थात्:-
( 1 ) इन विनियमों को भारतीय प्रशासन सेवा ( संवर्ग संख्या का नियतन ) छठा संशोधन विनियम , 1972 कहा जा सकेगा ।
( 2 ) ये सरकारी राजपत्त्र में इनके प्रकाशन की तारीख से लागू होंगे ।

G.S.R. 434 ( E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of sec- tion 3 of the All India Services Act , 1951 ( 61 of 1951 ) read with rule 11 of the Indian Administrative Service ( Pay ) Rules , 1954 , the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments to Schedule III appended to the said rules ;
2. ( 1 ) These amendments may be called the twelfth Amendment of 1972 to the Indian Administrative Service ( Pay ) Rules , 1954 .
(2) These amendments shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
3. In the said schedule III , under the heading " A- Posts carrying pay above senior scale pay in the Indian Administrative Service under the State Govern- ments" in the Table for the entries occurring in the second and third columns against the entries of States shown in the first column the following shall be substituted :-

सा०का ० नि ० 434 ( अ) -भारतीय प्रशासन सेवा ( वेतन ) नियम , 1954 केनियम 11 के साथ पठित अखिल भारतीय सेवाएं अधिनियम, 1951 ( 1951 का 61 ) की धारा 3 की उपधारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय सरकार उक्त नियमों के साथ संलग्न अनुसूची-3 में , एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है :--
2. ( 1 ) इन संशोधनों को भारतीय प्रशासन सेवा ( वेतन ) नियम , 1954 में 1972 का बारहवां संशोधन कहा जा सकेगा ।
( 2 ) ये संशोधन सरकारी राजपत्त्र में इनके प्रकाशन की तारीख से लागू होंगे ।
3. उक्त अनुसूची- III में " क - राज्य सरकारों के अधीन भारतीय प्रशासन सेवा में वरिष्ठ वेतनमान से अधिक वेतन वाले पद " शीर्षक के अधीन सारणी में प्रथम कालम में दिये गये राज्यों की प्रविष्टियों के सामने दूसरे तथा नीसरे कालम में दी गई प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रति- स्थापित किया जायेगा :--
