New Delhi, the 20th October, 1972

G.S.R. 447 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the All India Services, Act, 1951 (61 of 1951), read with Rule 11 of the Indian Admi- nistrative Service (Pay) Rules, 1954, the Central Government in consulation with the Govern- ment of Haryana herby makes the following rules further to amend the Indian Administrative Ser- vice (Pay) Rules, 1954, namely:—

1. (1) There- rules may be called the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Eighteenth Amend- ment Rules, 1972.

(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In Schedule III appended to the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Rules, 1954, (a) under the heading "A—posts carrying pay above the time scale pay in the Indian Administrative
