ORDER
EXPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Delhi, the 4th November 1972
S.O. 697(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of Imports & Exports (Control) Act, 1947 (18 of 1947), the Central Government hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Exports (Control) Order, 1968, namely;— 1. This Order may be called the Exports (Control) Seventeenth Amendment Order, 1972,
2. In the Exports (Control) Order, 1968, in Schedule I, Part 'B' the entry No. 3 viz. "Peacock, dead or alive or part thereof including peacock feathers and articles made of peacock feathers" shall be deleted and substituted by:
"3. Peacock feathers and articles made of Peacock feathers excluding the items mentioned against item No. 18(49) in Part 'A' ".
3. In the Export (Control) Order, 1988, in Schedule I, Part 'A' the entry No. 18 (28) viz. "live Snakes (excluding Snake Skins)" shall be deleted and substituted by: "18(28). Live Snakes (excluding non-poisonous Live Snakes and Snake skins)". 4. In the Export (Control) Order, 1968, in Schedule I, Part 'B' the following entry shall be made after item No. 1, (iii)(x):
"l(iii)(y)—Live Snakes (non-poisonous)".
