NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 11th November 1972
S.O. 702(E).—Whereas elections have been held in pursuance of the Notification No. F.13(4)/72-Leg. II, dated the 13th October, 1972, [published in Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (11) of the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, dated the 13th October, 1972] issued under section 12 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), for the purpose of filling the vacancy of a member of the Council of States elected by the elected members of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Jammu and Kashmir, who retired on the 10th November, 1972, on the expiration of his term of office;
Now, therefore, in pursuance of section 71 of the said Act, the name of the member elected by the elected members of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Jammu and Kashmir is notified for general information:—
