8.0. 729(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Seeds Act, 1966 (54 of 1966), the Central Government, after consultation with the Central Seed Committee, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Community Development and Cooperation (Department of Agriculture), No. S.O. 4045, dated the 24th September, 1969, namely: —
In the said notification, in the Table, under column 2, against item 5 relating to the variety of paddy 'Padma' in column 1. the brackets and words '(Summer)', '(Boro)' and '(Early Summer)' shall be omitted.
